Bio for Christopher Perricone, Mineral Wells Mayor:
I was raised by my dad, Chris A Perricone, in Cool, TX. My elementary school education was in Garner, and I was homeschooled from fifth grade on. I attended Mineral Wells High School as a student for a couple of months and played sports for three years with Community Christian School. I have been a bold Follower of Jesus Christ since the age of 14.
I started college at the age of 15 in 1996 at Weatherford College. Along with starting college, I began working at Long John Silver’s. I transitioned from working there to starting a new job with All American Pressure Cleaning, where I worked for the next 4 years.
I organized and led the donation of materials and labor for putting a rust inhibitor and paint on two miles of the Rails to Trails from Garner to Mineral Wells, with no charge to the city or county. There was over 100 documented man hours for that project. I attained the rank of Eagle Scout.
I left the state to play soccer in Bolivar, MO, at Southwest Baptist University. I came back to Texas after a year and started working with The Corp of Engineers as a Contracting Specialist, while going to UNT (University of North Texas). During this time, America's history changed with the 9/11 attacks. Katie Beth Scarborough and I became engaged in 2001. Around the same time I heard the call to join the military. This was a difficult decision, as I had plans on playing professional soccer.
In 2002 I joined the United States Air Force as a TAC-P (Tactical Air Control Party) Candidate. I completed training and graduated as top of class all around for physical, mental, and leadership qualities, receiving the Commandant’s Award.
I married my lovely wife Katie Beth in 2002.
I was sent to Survival School and received top marks again. We moved to Colorado where upgrade training immediately began for going to war. I deployed overseas and worked with OSI, 10th group, and 4th ID. During that time I was blessed to witness many supernatural prayers being answered and was able to baptize fellow soldiers.
During my second deployment to Iraq it was very busy as I was responsible for over 140 sorties and over 30K pounds of munitions dropped.
I attained an Associates Degree in Applied Science, Information System Technologies, with a 4.0. I Completed my Loan Originators course in 2003. I became an active member with a real estate investor program. We left Colorado and moved to Arkansas to take a special duty as a Recruiter. I completed a Business to Business sales training. I earned a Professional Selling Skills certification (PSS). I earned Top Recruiter for my region before exiting the United States Air Force.
Our first child, Noah, was born in 2005. I received an Honorable Discharge, 1J reenlistment code, for those in the know.
I Completed AA in Human Resource Management 4.0. I started the business “Patriot Pressure Cleaning” and quickly moved my company into the black! (This business still operates but has been restructured under my current S Corp, Kala Nea Inc.)
I have held contracts with RaceTrac, Murphy USA, Brinker, Chicken Es, Taco Casa’s, and many many more!
Our second son, Samuel, was born in 2009. I became a Youth Minister in Grandview, TX at Chambers Creek Baptist Church. Our third son, Judah Ben, was born in 2012.
I graduated from Columbia College receiving a BS in Business Administration with a 3.9 GPA. I started “Patriot” as a compliment to Patriot Pressure Cleaning to handle the request for construction work. I started Freeman’s Collectibles to buy and sell business collectibles. I passed the Series 7, General Securities Representative Exam (GSRE). I passed Series 66, The Uniform Combined State Law Examination. I have an MA (Masters of Arts) in Christian Education with two minors (Stewardship and Youth Ministry) completed from Southwest Baptist Theological Seminary with a 3.7 GPA.
I was hired on with Edward Jones, responsible for managing 14 million in assets, and was over 200% of target goals. I was called to the City of Mineral Wells, there are a handful of times when you know that you know the Lord has spoken to you. This calling to go to Mineral Wells was a clear as a sunshiny day!
Our daughter, Lucy Ruth, was born in 2015 and we moved to Mineral Wells! “Patriot” business changes and focuses on roofing and remodeling. Kala Nea Inc was created to house multiple DBAs and handle the growth being seen with my roofing business, Patriot Roofing. My company was awarded preferred contractor with Owens Corning. My company was chosen as installer for pilot installs of first ever industry hail damage warranty shingle.
I am running for State Representative because I share the conservative values this area represents, I know how to bring jobs to Texas, and I have the time, willpower, and expertise to make it happen.
I need your vote!
